I can't because of a non-transmittable mild skin disease.
psoriasis? i have it too.
Wait, what? FFFF-

Not that I'm expecting to be willing to donate any of my bodily substances, but fuck it, I'll lie about it. ...Even if it is visible.

I'm not a expert on hemotology, but I'm pretty damn sure a skin condition has anything to do with blood.

It's a chronic autoimmune disease. So while it looks like a skin disease, it's actually a problem with your immune system. Though I'm pretty sure immune cells are filtered out of your blood before donation, so it shouldn't be a problem.

((If they aren't, I suppose there's a very small chance that when given substantial amounts of "infected" blood, symptoms might occur. Could also trigger the disease, if the patient has a genetic factor that promotes it.))

Might as well :/
I never quite understood the unilateral banning of blood from certain segments of the population. It all gets tested for diseases and stuff anyway!
Testing takes time and expertise, and therefor cost. As sad a truth as it is, certain demographics have a higher rate of diseases that can be transmitted by blood doners, most often (But not always) sexually transmitted infections. There comes a point where a certain demographic has a high enough rate of infection that they know that after testing, they aren't going to be left with enough donations to justify allocating resources that could have gone to doners that are more likely to be clean.
Although we are talking about something that saves lives, so higher cost can be justified with greater need, and sometimes restrictions will be lowered to increase needed donations, but they have experts keeping track of all this to try and make sure they have just enough blood at any one time so they use what they have without waste and people don't have to go without. It is a bitch of a job and if you get it wrong people will die.

Also, most tests have a rate of failure. False negatives will be devastating.

ARMS. IN PAIN.

Whoever designed the 15 kg dogfood bag needs to be punched in his face. They put a handle on it to make it easier to carry but a few steps away from the bus stop and RIP! Handle comes flying off, tearing a hole in the bag and dogfood pouring out. Cue me salvaging what can be salvaged and carrying the bag the rest of the way home in the most unergonomic manner possible.

I need to punch someone. It's probably the same guy who designed plastic bags with handles on the short side, intentionally increasing wear and decreasing volume just so we can buy more plastic bags.

dogfood bag
Fireman's carry is the solution to your problem. It's always stood me in good stead with 100lb and 50lb (~45kg and ~22kg) bags, back when I had a dog large enough to make that sort of thing necessary. Granted, you need to remember to lift with your legs and spread the load, because you can screw up your back if you don't lift it properly.

That's why I use gloves.

This is actually the second bag whose handle has been ripped off and fireman's carry was essentially what I did back then. Problem is, this time there was also a hole so doing that would have spilled more food.
Not to mention I was also carrying groceries, so that makes it problematic.

Yeah fireman carry would have been a better option, last time i use a stupid carry handle on a bag it popped blood vessels all over my left hand.

IIRC, though, you are less likely to get skin cancer.

You have that, at least!
Oh sweet, that's cool.

No, spammers. I am not dumb enough to click that link, and neither do I want to 'increase my manhood by 2-4 inches'

And no, I do not know a girl from facebook that is 23 and wants to work in some kind of live porn industry. No, I will not click on the 'VIP pass'.
Yeah, for me the great part about it is i don't even have a Facebook.
