Goddamn shoelaces broke, and I'm two and a half hours away from a spare pair. Just have to hope this doesn't somehow cost me my license...

Just learned about Johanna Quuas, an 86-year old gymnast.  Amazing people that push the boundaries of what we think is possible make me happy.

Buggy forums make me rage.

GameStop... why did you have to buy out Impulse? I used to have four reliable digital delivery platforms but now I am down to three... I wanted to replay Academagia that I bought from there a long time ago and now I get treated to "You have to enter a product code [...]" and then all my games disappeared from my games list. Fine... I'll try restarting the client. "You are using an old version of [...] please update". By all means go ahead... nope, I'm just going to say I did but still tell you that you are using an old client... Grrr...

Is this bloody program run by HAL? I'm sorry aptus, but I can't let you play your games, in fact, I'm just going to remove them entirely from your owned games list.

I would reinstall to see if that fixes it but seriously, I never want to have anything to do with this bloody program again, I'll just check the game webpage and see if they sell it elsewhere. Sadly neither steam nor GOG has it but maybe desura...

Sad thing is I used to really like stardock when it was stardock. They got some games (like academagia and UnEpic) that were really hard to get on another big digital platform. Well I guess these kinds of things are the perils in the world of digital we live in now.

Oh, no, that's not what I meant. I mean, I'd be perfect to watch those children.

I suddenly wish I had children so I could hire you to be their nanny.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
