Seriously had enough of my goddamned job, and enough of the goddamned supervisors. Every. Little. Thing I was getting picked on for. Even things that didn't even make sense. At one point, I open a pack of bottled water to stock up the shelves with, making an I-shaped cut(makes removing the bottles a hell of a lot easier) and one of them makes a comment about "making a career" of opening the package.

Ah. Okay, yeah. I'm pretty sure that's a minor all over the country.

Back to your RAAAAGE.

Fact-checking this lead me to something rather... strange, to put it politely. I believe I have assembled an appropriate response.

Honestly, I can't tell if that's worse or better than the 12 that the rest of mexico seems to be.
Depends on when each individual person hits puberty, I guess :/
7-15 is a normal range, I think I remember reading. Also note that this only started occuring in the past 300 years or so. Before then, people had less food overall, causing a delayed onset of puberty. In areas of severe famine, some people don't even get puberty, due to malnutrition.

So, age of consent might actually be higher there than average for Mexico.

Shit fuck damning hell...

I took today off because I worked a 17 hour shift yesterday. So at 4pm my work email gets a message that I have emergency "permission" to commit code on a high priority task up until 9am tomorrow. It is 10:20 at night when I actually get this email. So it is the middle of the night and I am off to work, because I didn't bring my laptop home after leaving work in a stupor at 2am...

I shall demand a raise.

BTW That was in Canada, not the states. Age of consent is on a per-province level, average 16 but I don't know Nova Scotia, but all pictures of naked people need them to be 18 or else it's considered child porn.

This is true in the States too. Washington here has an age of consent of 16; below 18 is child porn if it's recorded. Pretty much the same.

There is at least 1 state that allows 17 year olds to be strippers, but I believe pictures are still illegal.

A quick fact check on this informs me that nowhere in the U.S. (or Canada, from what I could find) is it legal to be a stripper under the age of 18.

I also found this, which I find hilarious.

Speech teacher has us use an online book.  The book is never mentioned in class, nor are any of the assignments we are supposed to be bringing in from the book every class session.  The teacher is basically ignoring the online book we were told was required for the class that everyone paid $60 for.

2 weeks before the end of class, while we were waiting for the teacher to arrive in class (late) somebody mentioned a quiz.  It seems that 5th week in some quizzes were assigned on the book.  No mention of this in class, at all.  They already all came and gone, all 6 of them.  And it seems only a couple students actually completed them.

When you don't use a book all goddamn semester, ignore it exists, and some of your in class lectures actively contradict the book, please give some kind of heads up to your students when you decide to quiz them on it.  Especially when the only way they would see those quizzes would be by accessing the book, instead of using the school's own online quiz system that notifies students when there is a quiz due.

Yes that's right, the school has a quiz system on their class site that allows teachers to give quizzes, and notifies students when one is due.  She chose not to use it, and is the only teacher I have had that chose not to use it.

Lots of emails went out to the teacher, I donno about others but mine hasn't been responded to yet.

The only time I've ever wanted to punch a game developer in the face is when I'm playing a run and jump platformer and get to one of those puzzles.

Yes, one of THOSE. You know the ones. They aren't even the point of the game. They're the developer's anger toward an ex-girlfriend, a family member, a boss. They exist solely to cause you misery in a game where your controls are limited to left, right and jump. Even one wrong step and you're back the start of the puzzle - or, worse, the whole level.

Even more technology hate.  I was tasked with forwarding stored emails from a database table.  Fine, can't be that hard, right?  Well...

The problem is that we occasionally get emails into our ticket system from clients who use emails composed in Outlook, which is a reasonable thing.  Outlook however likes to insert lots of nonstandard quoted printable characters into emails, such as the pretty smart quotes.  Fine, except apparently PHP's IMAP decoder throws a tantrum upon running into these, resulting in tickets being created that end at mysterious spots.

So as a stop gap I was asked to take the raw email, which is stored, and resend it to an arbitrary email address specified by the user.  Fine.  Some time later, I discover that there is apparently no way to use PHP's mail functionality, nor PEAR's mail classes to send an email using the raw data.

Instead, I finally stumbled across a code snippet demonstrating how to use socket connections and direct SMTP commands to send the email.  Cue an hour trying to figure out how to authenticate to the thing, since I couldn't figure out if the stored user name or password for the mail server were wrong, or if I needed to be doing this over IMAP, or what.  Apparently just not authenticating at all was the right answer.  Good to know that our servers don't actually check this.

Anyway, the code didn't work.  I spent many hours trying to deduce why fgets was hanging when reading responses to the SMTP commands.  I couldn't figure it out, and no amount of debugging was being helpful.  I could send the first command to the server, but the connection just hung after that.  Doing it personally over telnet worked fine!

The problem?  I was using \n as a line ending instead of \r\n.  The server never realized I was done with the first command and merrily sat there waiting for me to finish.  Seriously.  Many hours wasted.  Because Windows and Linux use different line endings.  I even knew about this, but didn't bother to check if the mail server was a Windows server (it is).  Or if SMTP requires \r\n instead of just \n (probably).  The code snippet I found just used \n, so I figured that was all that was needed.

Oh well, at least I get to write some angry comments in the code.  I always enjoy doing that.

So my mom picked me up from High School, and we were driving home. We pass by the middle school by my house, and there's a fucking mob of hooping and howling animals. Calling these fuckers people would be a disservice to the human race. A lone teary eyed girl, covered in dust is LIMPING AWAY from this crowd of beasts. My Mom gets out of the car, and dials 911. And we offer to take the girl home. We tried to get a good picture of the mob, but they scattered like the vermin they were. My Mom tried to get a shot of this one girl who was in the thick of it, but she fled to her house and her parents came out. We try to explain the situation, but some people can't except their babies are fucking vicious. We get the injured girl home, her parents come out and she collapses in the doorway. We call an ambulance, wish them well, and left.
What got me was the laughing, the fucking laughing, they were hooping and laughing like Hyenas. This girl was on the verge of collapse, and they were still chasing her when we got there. If I wasn't so big, they may have attacked my mother. I've never felt so much sheer contempt for the human race. FUCK EVERY LAST ONE OF THOSE BASTARDS I HOPE THOSE FUCKS DIE AND GET SKULL FUCKED BY BEEALZEBUBHIMSELF! NO FUCK THAT EVERY LAST ONE OF THOSE FUCKS GET GANGBANGED BY ALL 72 GOETION DEMONS! FOR ALL ETERNITY FUCK ALL OF THEM.

Now, now, don't judge the whole human race by it's worse elements! Always remember that 1 out of 10 people aren't really that bad at all, and you can't let the few remaining bad apples ruin your opinion of them as well.

Oh I know that, humans are okay. I was referring to the animals that attacked the girl.
Did I mention that a kid at my school got beaten to a pulp for walking in on a group of thugs breaking into a car today.
Those thugs can get some hot demon dick too, while I'm cursing people.
