BTW That was in Canada, not the states. Age of consent is on a per-province level, average 16 but I don't know Nova Scotia, but all pictures of naked people need them to be 18 or else it's considered child porn.

I hate programming for mobile devices.  Regular or web development.  You'd think that with so much emphasis on browsers meeting standards these days, that something that works in a desktop browser would come out reasonably close to the mobile device browser, but you'd be very wrong.  iOS is kind of close.  Android is hilariously wrong.

Wouldn't be so bad if I had some decent way of debugging it.  All I have is the Android emulator, which is probably the slowest piece of software that has ever been written in the history of humanity.  Two hours later and I'm still waiting for it to finish booting the device.

Sometimes I miss the days of debugging Valgrind tools in GDB.  At least I actually got something done then.

Telgin, you can get an x86 version of android. It's... iffy, but I've had some success with it.

Interesting, I'll have to read more about that.  It can't be any worse than this emulator.  If it can get online and it comes in something close to 2.3.x flavor of the OS, that's all I need.

I'm still scratching my head on how the Android developers thought this emulator was acceptable to release to the public.  Everywhere I look, people complain about how unbelievably slow it is.
