Look on the bright side, he didn't try and sell you your own games. I lent a dude most of my PS2 games and he tried to sell them to me 2 days later.

I have never lent anything of even minor significance after I got back a hardback book that was somehow missing half of the front cover.

I'm willing to lend, insomuchas I will not usually expect the item back. You've gotta be a friend sometimes. :)

You do? *writes this down*

I usually don't bother lending things to people, if I can part with it I just give it to them these days. Except books. Books are lent.

Work. Sometimes it's like herding cats around here trying to get anyone to commit to doing something.

One reason I don't mind being single on valentines day. Don't have to worry about gifts.

I'm currently trying to write both the first part of my literary analysis  paper for English and a lab report for Chemistry.  First off, having to rapidly change between a neutral tone in my lab report to a proper tone for English is playing hell with my writing abilities.  Secondly, I forgot to confirm what the accepted value for the percent of water in CuSO4*H2O was.  It is either 35.1%, 36.1%, and 37.1%.  WHY THE HELL DID I FORGOT TO CONFIRM THIS?!

E:  Just now realized that I can calculate this myself.  Probably should of realized that eariler.  Earlier part about having to switch language still applies.
E 2: Also realized that I have to write about my sources of error.  I had 0.00% error! Why do I need to explain my non-existent sources of error!?

So they'll be able to tell you which part of the process you screwed up to come to 0.00% error, probably :P

And help make sure you don't bugger up later. The thought process (i.e. "showing your work" in mathematics, explaining stuff in what you're doing, etc., so forth, so on) is a lot more illuminating for a teacher than just an answer. An answer can only be right or wrong (usually), but the process to reach it is not so binary.

An answer also shows whether you managed to BS/luck your way into a correct answer, or if you actually understand how to reach it.

Also, as an aside, experiments which go horribly wrong (in a way that doesn't hospitalize you) can be much easier to write about than ones which go perfectly.

If it goes wrong then you can, at the least, write about the effects of how sulfuric acid does not improve eyesight.
On the other hand you might need someone else to write that for you...
I ust wrote some stuff about the balance being inaccurate (I swear if I had to hit the reset button on that thing one more time...) and possibly not evaporating all of the water.
