Now, now, that's pointlessly cruel.

You should just give them the Romney treatment and duct tape them to the roof of your car instead.

ChairmanPoo is the actual doctor, and he's been here significantly longer.

Also... it's not that confusing when you read their posts...

Seriously though. Unless you're driving like a maniac they should just be grateful. And even then... don't distract the person even more by criticizing them.

Yeah, sorry. I guess I'm a sucker for poking fun at NASA.  :-[
It's thing like this that make me miss having me own connection. Now I'm really curious to see the connection here.

Then again, I finally got a signal again. It's really cold, and I didn't want to have to go to the library.

Dear Texas Instruments,

I hate you now.  I've got very little time per week to work on my research, and you produce this thing and its associated software that appears to be bent on making me waste time.  Could you kindly update your documentation to indicate that using the cache control CSL functions causes the processor core to instead throw a tantrum?  Or, even better, tell me what I'm supposed to really do to get the other cores to see the updated value from SDRAM.

Sincerely,
Telgin
Both prices from work:

The cost of a Asus Google Nexus: $150-$200(depends on HDD space). No idea why they changed it to Google Nexus. But anyway.

Th cost of a high-end Texas Instruments graphing calculator: around $150-$200 as well.

Unless TI has put wireless networking in its calculators, I'd take the Nexus and download an app to do graphing functions.

You know, you can get a CASIO graphing calculator emulator for free pretty easily. It's also easy to use. The physical CASIO graphing calc costs about $80-$180 through school (can't remember exact) and is incredibly reliable.

To be fair, that was mostly tangental to what got the thread locked.

In my own rage, my new roommate apparently doesn't understand the concept of locking the gorram door when you leave and the room is empty. Or of closing the bathroom door.

My teachers are freakin' terrible at letting us know when classes are canceled  ::)

I dragged myself out of bed this morning, struggled through heavy traffic (thanks to the light fog and mild sprinkles that make every driver around here flip out), ran to my classroom with just five minutes to spare...and it turns out that the teacher sent an email about an hour before class that it was canceled for the day.

YA COULDN'T HAVE SENT IT OUT YESTERDAY?! I COULD HAVE SLEPT IN AND AVOIDED THE TRAFFIC!

This is the second time in two weeks that a class has been canceled. The last time we didn't get any notice at all >.<

Ha, one time a Professor (seriously, the worst Professor I've ever had), just plain didn't show up for one lecture. Turns out he was in the building helping out with a prospective student open house. He would have known weeks in advance that he couldn't be there, but never once thought to mention it or send out any kind of email.

I can't wait to get into academia. Where else can you build an entire lifestyle out of being absentminded, watching pretentious European arthouse porno flicks, drinking cheap wine and having affairs with underlings? Or all four at the same time, even?
