I hope the NRA keeps their goddamn fucking traps shut. If I so much as see one instance of "Well, if only those kids had been armed..." I'm going to rip somebody's brain out through their asshole and then feed it to them.

Don't worry, a majority of people don't really care. It just serves as another stage for people to flaunt their political beliefs. I can't even say I really care about it.

flash player, just... flash player.

It crashes with the current setup used at my college, (4 stations hosted off of one computer, works fairly well excluding FLASH)  Prior versions of flash worked but I see no way to to get them to install themselves, as it keeps telling you a new version is available so download that and not this version. 

I dislike flash player but it is necessary to have in todays web, well, mostly necessary...

Can't use older flash player, everything will balk at you for trying such a thing.

Stupid call reports. If the data is pre-loaded into the report (X store, Y store number, Z address, etc,) which it is, I shouldn't have to answer store specific questions. Each report I fill out (at least one per store,) asks me no less than three times if I'm working in a Best Buy. WTF, IT department?

I'm pretty sure this is the main purpose for them.  They're literally referred to as a "pain compliance tool".  "Pain compliance" is the first and primary tactic employed by police against an uncooperative person.

I'm going to take a lot of shit for this, but you guys all need to do some research on what exactly the Second Amendment is, and why it was put into place.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

The Right to Bear Arms was given to us to prevent the government from forcing us to submit to their will by using the military. This was written when the most dangerous weapon on the planet was the musket. We The People no longer have the ability to match the war machine of the American Military, and we haven't been able to in over a hundred years. As technology marches on, we become more powerless to defend ourselves from the tyranny of big brother's strong arm tactics. How is your .45 supposed to defend you against a UAV, should the military decide to lock a city down with drones?

Look, I'm all for people being able to defend themselves. My martial arts training has saved my ass more than a few times. That said, that training has mostly saved me from cowards with guns that didn't have the guts or reaction time to pull the trigger before they found themselves on their backs. Without my training, I would have been just another statistic long ago.

The Second Amendment is archaic and needs to be rewritten. People will always find ways to hurt one another, but a reduction in the number of easily used and obtained weapons is in order. The sheer volume of guns on the black market that I could have gotten my hands on when I was a teenager (and had a brief peek into that black market) was staggering. Most of them that I saw were stolen from homes, where they were lying out in the open and literally anyone could (and did) get their hands on them. We as a nation need to be smarter about guns.

We The People need to take a two pronged approach to the problem: We need to use education as a preventative tool to reduce gun crime and accidents, especially education on safe handling, gun locks, and keeping guns out of the hands of untrained people. Furthermore, we need to get guns out of the hands of the criminally irresponsible. These guns that people go on rampages with don't just materialize out of thin air. Someone was either negligent or stupid enough to leave them where children and the mentally unstable can get their hands on them. Failing that, someone was irresponsible enough to sell a gun to someone with a broken mind.

My piece has been said, and we all need to shut the fuck up, get the fuck off our soapboxes, and read up on the context behind the soundbites that we live on. Turn off the tv and crack open a book.

Why the fuck do American schools pospone the Standardized Tests for TWO HOURS to wait for late people? In an effective learning place will just start on time and either deny late people entry or let tem deal with lost time.

True.  At my school there is a very strong Christian population AND atheist population.  The school doesn't force anyone to pray, BUT there are Christian clubs/activities that are done by members of the student body.  All done before and after the school day.
