My biggest beef with Steam was the offline mode issue. Now somebody ate that beef and I'm mad because now I'm hungry.
QTFY
How so? Why would the fixing of the offline mode issue make you mad?

from what i know Valve successfully been able to port TF2 to linux.

For as the offline mode, theoretically some of games can run without steam running you would just have to point the shortcuts straight to the executable.

They are working on that IIRC. But i think that many games don't work on linux. Not something valve can do much about.

I'm fine with the idea that many of the games won't, I'm just bothered by the fact the client won't, and thus I can't play the games that do or chat with people.

They've got a storepage for the games in the Steam Linux test, you know.

That's nothing surprising, Value could port Team Fortress 2 to a TI-83 calculator if they wanted to.

I would join you in this. Not sure about the carwashes, though. That would take time away from playing TF2 on my TI-84.

Did you strip one, or step on one?

I'm trying to mod a Nerf gun for a friend, but I think I've worn down a couple of the screws. So, stripped.

Funny thing too, because only one of them looks really stripped. The others seem to be fine, so it might just be that the screwdriver I'm using doesn't fit or something. Weird.. got 8 of the screws out with it. It also might be that I'm screwing wrong.

Anyway, I'll worry about it tomorrow after my hands stop being all raw. Should have worn gloves.
