I think I just overheard my roommate saying he was going to attack me.

Shouldn't that be in the terrified thread?

Unless you think you can take him.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Yes, over his delusional belief that I sabotaged his alarm clock for no reason.

Might I suggest getting a pirate discount?

Yar, matey.

No. It'll just leave me in this exact same position x years from now, with a fully installed OS and suite of programs that I can't activate and have to rush around to find a legit copy. Plus, for all the BS, I still like MS updates and security fixes.
Well I actually had a similar situation happen to me where after we installed Windows 7 on this computer we somehow managed to lose the account information for our online purchase. This came back to bite us when later on after we'd installed it it decided we needed to activate it (I thought we'd already done this, but apparently not?), it was looking like it was going to be a whole hell of a lot of grief to get it activated, so I just wound up using a pirate activator, and the install has worked perfectly with no complaints ever since.

Most activators I know of usually disable Windows Genuine Advantage, which needs to be valid for you to receive updates.

Get him 10+ alarm clocks all set to go off at the same time.

I don't have a clue. His "proof" it was me is that his alarm clock was knocked off the mini-fridge when he woke up, and when he went to sleep it was lying on its side.

If he's as delusional as you think, you could introduce him to the 'aliens' guy.

Nonono. Get 10+ alarm clocks, set to go off between 1-5 minutes of each other in sequence. If he's the type to hit the snooze button, he won't be able to get back to sleep. If he gets up, he'll have to stop getting ready every 1-5 minutes to turn off another alarm.

Guys, you do realize that unless my RA is a master negotiator this is probably going to end in legitimate violence, right? My roommate is delusional and probably will attack me if he thinks he can.

Stay in groups of friends. Invite a bunch of people over when you think he's likely to attack you; power in numbers and all that.
