And what have we learned, Misko?

"Evil and Good are something that Eldritch Abominations are above."

Yes. Now, come back to me when you're above good and evil and maybe I might think about letting you into the Elder Gods.

Frankly, an essentially human mind with vast power scares me far more than a True Neutral or Blue & Orange Morality one.

Forunately, such power quickly distorts a human mind TO one of those.

This. Humans become incredibly cruel with power. At least a TN or BO mind wouldn't exactly be cruel, they'd just be vastly different.

Depends how much power. At the higher ends of the spectrum, their minds tend to go out of focus.

Not even the whole "power corrupts" shtick. Just think about an ordinary human being and their emotions if they were backed with the power to destroy stars with a misplaced thought. You break up with the wrong person and bam! supernova.

No. This is incredibly fallacious and exactly what is wrong with people in power. Don't be just another corrupt politician.

Eventually you sort of forget the little people exist at all.

One must be capable of committing astounding acts of evil to rule a nation sucessfully.

This is why Misko is no Eldritch being.

My Icon is Marshal Tito. I'm going for exactly that level of corrupt, powerhungry, and practical.

My Icons are the Emperor of Mankind and Emperor Palpatine. Both were equally efficient at being powerhungry, awe-inspiring leaders of vast amounts of men.

I... I'unno. EoM was a bit better at things than Palpi until th'EoM got stuck to the golden toilet, I think. Post toilet he didn't really have much to do with much beyond being that glorified GPS thing.

Palpi was... actually pretty on the up and up, iirc... depending on the writer. Palp's level of competence varied wildly based on authorial competence, heh.

So, yeah. Taken as a whole neither are particularly good choices... but at their best, yeah, s'pretty good critter to mimic. Though they were dealing with pretty wildly different metaphysics (compared both to us and each other), so...
