So far as I understood it, this was the argument:

GlyphGryph: Not making people pay for medical treatment on a per-visit basis would improve quality of life in general because there would be less incentive by the hospital to wring payments out of people by giving them treatment they don't need.

nenjin: Calling it free is wrong because somebody has to pay for the hospitals anyway.

Hence why I finished arguing a while ago, the irrelevance was overwhelming >_>

And it went on. For pages.

My rage for today: I had this brilliant idea for an animation. But then I remembered that I am about as artistic as a log. No artistic skills to speak of, and yet that damn creative bone still kicks me in the brain with ideas.

My voxels are not sloping correctly >:( RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEE!!!! (for me at least)
It's rather annoying since I'm trying to be non-Minecraftian but it still has to follow a pseudo-tile like form and it's a little easier to move around with slopes than with steps. It looks 'okay' but not good enough! RAWR!!!

Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

Air is totally expensive as fuck. Those trees have to do a lot of photosynthesizing to make it.

"Hey trees, you know that oxygen that you provide for the world? You didn't build that."

My RAGE for today is the fact that the line from the Obama campaign video that I am referencing above was taken so out of context and interpreted so incorrectly that it has now become a meme, and that it popped into my head when I read that.

What made me rage is people complaining about people arguing, and then taking snide pot - shots at them. Actually, that didn't make me rage, that just made me upset.

I thought we were all friends?!? :(

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

He who controls the hugs, controls the universe. The hugs must flow!

EDIT: So...my friend who lost his wife recently? He posted this on Facebook:
Quote
In other news, was not aware that perfect strangers combed the obits to send letters full of hellfire, brimstone, and 'Are You Right With God?' bible tracts to people grieving for lost loved ones.

Would rather not have discovered that particular fact about humanity.

If only they had put return addresses, I'd have some "visits" to make.  >:(
