LaMulana mantras.

Motherfucking argh. Nothing in this game gave me as much frustration and raeg fuel than this aspect. I've went through the game without a single damn 'outside' hint, wrestling my mind into pulp until I got through everything on my own.

Fine, finding mantras is doable - chanting them?

FUCK NO. I literaly had to run through all the rooms to find a spot that accepts the mantra. Thanks gods that I went on a hunch and found an order they can be found/chanted with. I would propably vomit all over the game if I had to check every room in every region every time.

Honestly, two weeks of gameplay spent on some damned eight words. Frustrating.

Never again.

Two weeks? Damn, I would've given up long before xD

My rage:

My father has a tow truck and occasionally picks up broken down cars on the highway or whatever. He left a while back to do something, and said he'd be 20 minutes. 10 minutes after that, someone called and wanted a tow, so I told them it'd be ~20 minutes for the tow truck to get there (he's not that far away). It's been 40 minutes now and my father still isn't back, and I'm expecting an angry call any minute now.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Mitt Romney constantly saying the opposite of what he said before, and his followers supporting him regardless. Also constantly saying that whatever President Obama did, it was the wrong thing to do and/or he did it badly, and basically having no principles, positions, or sense of truth. Lying about everything, including his record as governor of Massachusetts.

Mitt Romney: He's a punk, and he's gonna get us all killed.

Thrive is an Indie project widely inspired by the concept behind Spore. Though Spore was initially billed as a realistic, scientific game about evolution, the final product got watered down until it had practically nothing to do with science or reality. Thrive aims to succeed where Spore failed. Thrive will be a free, open-source game created by an online community of dedicated volunteers. They seek to accomplish two major goals: create engaging, compelling gameplay that respects the players’ intelligence, and remain as accurate as possible in their depiction of known scientific theory.

Fingers crossed for no vapourware!

Are you asking what vaporware is, or what they're talking about?

Software that's supposed to be forthcoming, but never materializes. Hence, "Vapor". Duke Nukem 3d was the epitome of vaporware for the longest time.

And Duke Nukem Forever was thought to be this for something like 15 years, IIRC.

Huh. It's still being updated, I think, although it's hard to tell. I really hope it comes out, though. I want that god feeling again.

So I heard Capcom just released a HD version of one of my favourite games ever: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure on the CPS3 board.

So happy.

Then I found it wasn't really HD. It was just the old game ported from the Dreamcast, with a shitty HD filter pass over it. Not actual HD sprites, JUST A FILTER THAT SOFTENS SOME EDGES.

And they're selling it for $20 on the PSN Store. It's a freaking fourteen year old game! With no updates!

Case in point: Jean Pierre Polnareff, the original badass Frenchman's original theme.

Jean Pierre Polnareff's theme remastered by Nanjo/Night Studio.

Guess which one they used?

Also, it took me TEN minutes to figure out which render effects I needed to mimic the Pseudo HD. Some blitter effect that I can't remember, tiny weeny scanlines, and Super 2xSAI SoftFX. Took me ten minutes. Shows how much love Capcom gave to one of their best games ever.

RRAHAHHHAH CAPCOM

and then they have a poster in MvC3 with a 'terminated' list of characters, featuring CAPTAIN COMMANDO! MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER EVER. Never returning to gaming. Apparently Megaman's next.

[EDIT: found my error. Thanks, Darvi.]

They used both, because they're one and the same video.
