The only irritating configuration thing I've had to punch into about:config for firefox was this, to fix the address bar showing everything properly.

Pick Up Artist. It's kind of like being a con-man, but specifically to pick up chicks. It's all horrifically dirty pool, as you're expected to manipulate, cheat, and outright lie to get into someone's pants.
