Anyway, I've seen bacon buttered, before. Ate some, too, so... not bad, though I don't really like butter on anything anymore. Add some syrup because syrup is phenomenal on bacon and there you go. Buttered syrup bacon.

Gods, yes. I haven't done the buttered bacon that way, but syrup basted sausage wrapped in syrup basted bacon? This is a thing I have done.

I love wrapping my sausage in bacon, basting it all in maple and brown sugar glaze (HUH, maybe I should also put it UNDER the bacon? ), then putting it with a home-made honey-mustard topping on a flat-bread slice.

It's like pigs-in-a-blanket, only made out of sex and fat and grease and deliciousness.

The university dining hall has maple & bacon muffins. So you've got a delicious maple frosting-coated muffin full of chunks of bacon. This is from the same place that decided that deep fried oreos over popcorn (akin to fish over rice pilaf) is an acceptable supper.

We all know that we like sausage. There's nothing like a big, juicy sausage at mid-day. Accompanied by a chunk of crusty bread, a lump of cheese, and a glass of water, of course.
