Why do you have to be like this, Valve? And why must I agree to your new terms?

Quote
SECTION 12 CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. PLEASE READ IT. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES, SOME OR ALL OF SECTION 12 MIGHT NOT APPLY TO YOU.
I hope that section sure is void for me, then.

Quote
YOU AND VALVE AGREE TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES AND CLAIMS BETWEEN US IN INDIVIDUAL BINDING ARBITRATION. THAT INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO: (i) ANY ASPECT OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN US; (ii) THIS AGREEMENT; OR (iii) YOUR USE OF STEAM, YOUR ACCOUNT OR THE SOFTWARE. IT APPLIES REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CLAIMS ARE BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, FRAUD, UNFAIR COMPETITION, MISREPRESENTATION OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
[...]
YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU AND VALVE ARE GIVING UP THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND TO HAVE A TRIAL BEFORE A JUDGE OR JURY.
[...]
YOU AND VALVE AGREE NOT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION OR COLLECTIVE ARBITRATION, EVEN IF AAA’s PROCEDURES OR RULES WOULD OTHERWISE ALLOW ONE. THE ARBITRATOR MAY AWARD RELIEF ONLY IN FAVOR OF THE INDIVIDUAL PARTY SEEKING RELIEF AND ONLY TO THE EXTENT OF THAT PARTY’S INDIVIDUAL CLAIM.
Cruise control.
I believe the EU laws protect me from this, in effect.

correct me if I'm wrong. but please, for the love of shit, tell me I'm right!
EULA's aren't even legally binding in most countries because they're not agreed to with a lawyer present, or a notary of some kind to confirm you did indeed agree to it.

ext js.

One could not have possibly made a more impossible to deal with steaming pile of fetid GUI generating code.

Exact same page, exact same code, exact same data, exact same browser, exact same computer, inconsistent display.

Lets dynamically do a bunch of shit in a way that is utterly impossible to trace.

Debugging? LMFAO, debugger not available on target platform.
Debugging damn it? Alternative debuggers change the behavior of the code. wtf.
Ok, can I inspect the damn elements? TROLLOLOL! You can try, but fuck you if you think we will show you all the properties.
Ok, can I use a different fucking browser where I might be able to get tools that do something? Can not reproduce issue!

Shit works? Why? We escaped the notice of the mad gods!
Shits broken? Why? Failure to appease the whims of the mad gods!

It's true. Just ask any programmer. Most programs run on Black Magic, rather than anything logical.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Chaperoning three of my friends on their first acid trip. This is more than I signed up for.

One of them threw up but I think he's getting used to it. I can tell the other guy is flipping his shit but he's trying to pretend he's okay.

I'm guessing you're not on an acid trip, given how you're still using grammar and not screaming about the trees following you or something.
He wouldn't be a very good chaperone if he were also on acid the oak listens.

This depends. I've done whole vials of acid and never lost control of my grammar and had trees following me. I've also chaperoned people who were tripping their first time, while I was also tripping. It seemed to calm them that I was going through the same thing as them, yet not freaking out.

See, this is a big reason I don't keep pets. Also, cats taste horrible, just saying.

Indeed. Different people, different circumstances.

I think I'll, personally, find my entertainment away from any drugs that can cause physical/psychological damage.

and may require brain bleach.

and now onto my RAAAAAAAAAGE!
My cat deposited fleas in my bed. again.

That is a good decision. LSD can't cause physical damage, but it could easily break your mind.
Also:
I. Fucking. Hate. Fleas.
