GRRM hates the very concept of what happened with the Dune series after Frank's son took the rights to the family legacy. He has specifically worked something out in his will that prevents anyone else from finishing the books if he dies in a timely or untimely manner before they are finished. Sanderson's swing at ending the WoT books might be changing his mind a little, but I doubt it's done a total conversion.

He has, however, given the producers of the TV series a rough version of the events that will transpire to complete the series so that the TV version will finish if ratings don't kill it before the end.

Raging because my wife has thrown away 8 years of being smoke-free because of hanging around a single classmate who chain smokes.  Now she's making feeble attempts to try and quit again every couple weeks, but cannot handle the withdrawal without treating everyone around her like total shit.  I hate feeling like I'm being punished by someone for their stupid decision.

I'm pretty sure there's a stink bug in my room. Currently I'm hoping it's some similar bug that looks like a stink bug, but just in case, is there a way to get rid of these guys without them doing their stink thing?

Not sure. Possibly cup/jar/bowl and piece of paper method? If you don't know it (o.O) it goes like this:
Place container inverted over insect, so the insect is inside the container but still on the wall/floor/etc.
Lift container off surface enough to fit the paper underneath.
Slide paper under the gap.
Take outside, release insect.
Idk if the stink bug will freak about this, but at least it will be contained.

I'm afraid that'll spook it, but I guess there's probably no better option.

edit: I caught and released the thing. Now I feel bad because I released an invasive species back into the wild. There really was no good outcome to this.

Not rage, but more like minor annoyance:

I suggested a friend to play cataclysm, told him a few things about it, how it was a roguelike and stuff.
I asked him, "do you know what a roguelike is?"
He said yes. So i give him a link so he can download the game, he starts it up, and then he fucking complains to me ABOUT THE GRAPHICS.

Not ALL roguelikes have ASCII graphics, but most do, and some that have graphic tilesets even have an ASCII mode.

So apparently Fallout 3 doesn't run on Windows 7 for some reason? Would've been nice to know that before I blew $12 on it this morning.
