I posted this is the things that made you sad but this also made me RRAAAAAGGGGEEEE.

My girlfriend works sorting cherries. I used to work too but I had to quit for health reasons as I was 120 pounds at 5'10" and it was extremely difficult for me to work the long hours they wanted.

Yesterday my girlfriend had to go in at 7AM and worked until 11PM. Today she once again had to go in at 7AM and she just texted me during a break saying that they had to stay until 11PM again and they have to come in a 7AM again tomorrow. Before it was just 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, but now cherry season is in full swing and things are starting to speed up.

It is a minimum wage job too. **** that, even with overtime. She already developed back and muscle spasms and tendonitis in her shoulder from the job (but then again she also has had injuries to that area that have caused her trouble before). The doctor said the spasms and tendinitis aren't going to go away until she stops working the job and that she should get some physical therapy if possible. She is extremely unhappy with the job but she is afraid that she wouldn't be able to find another job and that in the end I will have to take student loans because she won't be able to afford her half of the bills and have to borrow money from me. I'm currently having trouble finding any job myself. Not even McDonalds will take me.

About half the hotels I've stayed in, the floor was more comfortable than the bed. Carpeted floor is usually pretty comfy, imo. So, uh. Requisition pillows and blankets, make nests?

Doubtful it's much dirtier than the bed, at least if the cleaning staff is doing job (and if they're not, probably even less difference). If that's problem, though, you just lay down a towel or two or whatev'. Maybe cover a section with a blanket if you need more space. Don't need mattress to make bed, is what saying.

There's occasionally spillover from a men's rights forum onto another place I frequent, so I occasionally head over there to see what they're up to and I never leave without a significant amount of time being wasted glaring at my screen.
