That wasn't much of an emergency, at all. But at least you can wave off any problems with the factory reset by telling her it would still be broken otherwise, the verizon guy said it was too damaged.

The volume buttons were crushed into the side of the phone. All I did was pry it open just enough to let them move freely.

I badly damaged the screen of my first phone by accidentally falling on it in theater class four days after getting it. My parents were angry until I pointed out that they made me get a phone in the first place. I didn't bother to get a replacement for almost three years.

Today at dinner not only did a guest use his fingers to push food around on the plate, he also *licked* those fingers between each food-pushing attempt.   Then he used his fingers to try and soak up sauce from the plate.  Then he took a second serving and *did it again*.   

Then, he took the conversation in a completely gross direction, and ignored everyone else trying to change the subject. He even ignored being asked to change the subject *by the host*.  Finally we all had to shout him down. 

IDK what he could have been thinking. This wasn't finger food, he's not handicapped, or 5.
