To be fair, they likely spent a year or so wiping shit off your ass.
I completely agree.  My parents recently killed my younger brother because they "gave him life" and "could take it back anytime."  They also spent a whole day screaming at the top of their lungs at me and running around nude because I did the same to them when I was an infant.  They once spent a whole day refusing to eat and would spit anything I fed them back at me.  And that's 100% justifiable and totally ok.  Parents have the right to be idiotic as infant children because their infant children (namely us) were idiotic to them.  If only I had the mental capacity when I was a child to act like an adult to my parents, then they wouldn't be abusive idiots today.  Oh woe is me.

Chances are when they get old enough they'll do all that stuff eventually anyway.

But they need to be old enough for senility to be a reasonable excuse first.

There are a number of potential issues.

1: M-ary is non standard nomenclature. N-ary is the typical term for an arbitrary log tree.
2: complete has 2 or more possible definitions.
3: the description has insufficient information to answer either way because it does not specify that every node at every level of the tree is full. So yes, a complete N-ary tree has all its leafs at the same level, no that is not sufficient information to qualify either description of a complete tree.

Nomenclature aside, meh. Wikipedia has them even listed as k-ary trees.

Uh, yes it does. Otherwise you'd have leaves on different levels.

2 definitions of a complete tree:

1: All nodes above the lowest level have all positions filled with other nodes, the lowest level of nodes has all positions filled with leaves. Sometimes called a perfect tree.

2: All nodes above the lowest level have all positions filled with other nodes, the lowest level of nodes may or may not be filled, but all of those nodes are that are filled will be filled from left to right without gaps.

The key is that simply having leaves at the same level does not make a tree complete, gaps higher in the tree prevent it from being complete.

Do you even know what you are talking about?

It's an example of a complete n-ary (in this case, binary) tree not having all its leaves on the same level.

The point is, the definition given is that of a perfect tree. One would expect a uni-tutor to know better. But then again, those are the same people who believe that a tree with only one node has a height of 1 :V

1: All nodes above the lowest level have all positions filled with other nodes, the lowest level of nodes has all positions filled with leaves. Sometimes called a perfect tree.
Precisely. Except that calling that a complete tree (it technically is one, though) is entirely misleading. Math isn't supposed to have multiple definitions for one name.

The definition given is not sufficient to be a perfect tree OR a complete tree.
