Just very slightly mad.
Slightly mad?
I've recently become a queen nut.
Y'know, from the right angle you could be Freddie Mercury's cousin or something (he *was* Gujarati, after all...)

...it's the mustache. It was worthy of a Bollywood starring role.*

Besides, north Indians tend to look Caucasian anyways, maybe just a tad swarthy.

*That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.  :-\

I always thought you were native to India too, Japa. How did you end up in the Far East?

...That would be because they're part of the "Caucasian" block, yeah. :P

So, on Sunday, we had to take my stepdad to the hospital because of seizures, and all Monday he was vomiting his brains out in the bathroom. Monday night, I spot him leaving, to go buy beer no less. I ask my mom about whether he should be drinking, much less driving a truck in that condition, and she tells me he was pissed because all day she's been hiding or watering down his beer, so that he doesn't  drink too much, but at the same time doesn't stop cold turkey(which was causing at least the vomiting).

I don't even think there's an animated GIF out there that can adequately describe my feelings on that.

They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I told them I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard.
... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

Yeah, alcohol withdrawal is a bitch. While I'd say the only mistake she made in this particular scenario is letting him go, I doubt she could've stopped him. And let us be honest he's doing the world a favor by destroying his liver.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Allergies make me rage today.  What possible evolutionary advantage did being all snuffly and congested all the time give my ancestors?  I can't wait till the day they can take my brain out of my head and put it into a robot body.  I'll go around stomping on all the flowers I can find with my heavy robot foot without consequence!
