I always looked at campus preachers as a form of dinner entertainment. Beats staring at a wall in the food court!

Meh. I always preferred to watch the track and field girls in their short shorts jog by.

... I always got the food to go, because I could stuff more food in a box than I could eat in one sitting (and the price was the same, so...). Mind you, I wasn't on a meal plan or anything (Because hahaha, no. Shit was 2-3x more expensive than just cooking for myself most of the time.) so it was pretty rare but still. It wasn't that bad of a deal to occasionally not have to cook for two or three days, which was how long I could usually stretch a food court takeaway. Food was pretty meh in terms of quality, but the quantity was just right.

I go to VCU and it's bad. Sure I'm in the south (and former capital of the Confederacy) but it's probably the most liberal university in Virginia. However even in such a liberal place I'm mocked for my LACK of belief in most cases, even though I try to play the part of the better man and not mock these preachers. Well, here's an interesting article that makes me rage (not the article itself, just what it found).

http://life.nationalpost.com/2011/11/30/religious-people-do-not-believe-in-atheists-study/

Ooooh and here comes the monthly ear-bleeding as I type. Lovely. (University siren tests)

There's red flag #1. The problem with a lot of college psychology/sociology studies is that they use students as their population sample. No offense to all the various undergraduate students that are B12'ers, but you're talking about a segment of society that is still figuring out how the hell the world works and what they believe. People have a lot of half-assed opinions in college.

Eh, I certainly agree that college students can have a skewed view, but the first part about the polls still stands. Americans simply don't like atheists, either professionally (voting for them for office) or personally (having their child marry one). This (in a bit jump to my opinion) most likely stems from the fact that religious people think that you can't learn good morals without reading them in a holy book.

Well, many of my religious friends don't force the holy book on you...

On the other hand, you can stare at the preacher and not be a creep. :P But yes, T&F Females > Traveling Preachers.

Clerk appears to have gotten into my booze cabinet while I was in a hearing today.... I know it was her, because I mark my bottles and am totally honest with the fact that I drink wayyyy, waaaayyyyy too damn much. Also she was the only one in the office, as secretary has the day off (Naturally, everything has gone straight to bullshit without her here).

Incompetence is one thing, but touching my booze? That's it....

Listen here Drinkie McBitchy, that stuff isn't prescription but I'm terrified of what the cumulative hangover would do if I stopped drinking all at once. Never mess with someone's addiction, least of all mine.... Guess who's making a liquor store run.... Clerk.
