Disappointed.
Kinda off topic but I completely forgot that tv series existed. I loved watching it as a kid, since it was essentially a live action cartoon to me; super powered dude beats up bad guys.

Continue on with ya'lls rage.

Kevin Sorbo is a pretty cool guy, too.

... I have nothing to say about this. Whatever I could say would be incoherent from RAGE.

This video is CISPA, right? I mean, I'm on a mobile device and I can't view vids from here.

Also, great, I'm starting to hate these things. Goes to show the government is really interested in conquering the unclaimed, yet (somewhat) civilized frontier called the internet and make it their own, bend it to their will, remove all privacy, etc etc.

People who grunt loudly at the urinal. I'm sorry, but it's just creepy when theres three dudes behind you and you sound like you're in pain or orgasming. It isn't that hard to keep quiet. Seriously.

What if they aren't just sounding like it?

They have medicine for that.

In a related peeve, guys who continue to talk on their cell phone WHILE they're taking a piss. Seems to have become even more prevalent with the advent of Bluetooth headsets. OTOH, some sales guy was doing this at work a couple of weeks ago, barging into the restroom and talking loudly with a client while standing at the urinal. The client must have asked him about the echo and whether he was calling from the pisser, because salesguy said something like, "No, no I'm in a parking garage."

Cue three stalls flushing their toilets in quick succession, and one more person letting it rip. I lol'd.

Well I have a thing with a friend where we try to only call each other when flushing a toilet, purely to piss each other off (pun) but never from a public restroom. Learn some ettiquite please! I think there was an iphone app with a quiz on that or something.

On a less creepy and more infurating note, people who preach their ideas in the middle of my university. Right now there's a big display outside the commons with signs leading up to it saying "WARNING: Photos of genocide ahead!" and all sorts of stuff like that. When you get there it's a display against abortion. Now I don't want to start anything on here, so let's keep it simple. Genocide: the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. Fetuses, or unborn children if you see them that way, do NOT fit under the definition. If you want to call it murder go ahead, but don't make me excited about bringing awareness to things that as a jewish (by heritage) individual only to crush my hopes when I realize it was false advertising. If you want to help people then stop the atrocities going on elsewhere, let neurologists decide at which point something is alive or dead. The donations you're receiving would be put to better use stopping the mass murder of people with families, histories, and real emotions.

This! Dear Luna, this. At least once a week some crazy evangelist sets up in the middle of the main path through campus, standing there preaching about how we're going to hell for being college students, for not hating GLBT people, for not rejecting science, etc. Not to mention the random students that decide to do impromptu soapbox speeches about how we're going to hell for not accepting Babby Jebus into our lives.

I think all universities have that. My undergrad had a guy I called "Reverend Colonel Sanders", cause seriously...I was ready to ask him if Jesus gave him that secret blend of herbs and spices. It wasn't just queerfolk who were damned, it was any men with long hair, and women with a skirt hem above their ankle. Dude spent a lot of time calling everyone and anyone fornicators, idolators, telling women they needed to submit to men to enter Heaven, etc.

Did I mention UNC-Greensboro is a former women's college and still had about 65-70% female enrollment at the time? Or that it had the largest GLBT population in the state university system? Also one of the largest Wiccan/Neo-pagan populations. I was always kind of amazed dude made it home in one piece each night.

Just remember...these people have the right to be public douchebags. And you have the right, nay the sacred duty, to mock them.

I go to VCU and it's bad. Sure I'm in the south (and former capital of the Confederacy) but it's probably the most liberal university in Virginia. However even in such a liberal place I'm mocked for my LACK of belief in most cases, even though I try to play the part of the better man and not mock these preachers. Well, here's an interesting article that makes me rage (not the article itself, just what it found).

There's red flag #1. The problem with a lot of college psychology/sociology studies is that they use students as their population sample. No offense to all the various undergraduate students that are B12'ers, but you're talking about a segment of society that is still figuring out how the hell the world works and what they believe. People have a lot of half-assed opinions in college.
