"Food" fights in my high school either consisted of thrown insults or thrown punches. Half the kids didn't want to waste anything edible, the other half didn't want to damage their designer thermoses.

I wonder if food fights are a distinctly American thing. Now that I'm old and crotchety, it seems like such a waste of (terrible) food.

I have never once been in a food fight. Lots of water fights, though.

I was in a coca-cola fight once with about 6 of my cousins when we were kids. Everyone thought it was hilarious except my grandmother and grandfather.

They got their revenge though. They had bright pink carpet installed all throughout the downstairs, where I have to sleep every time I visit them.

yup, you get to laugh sadistically as you pull out your throwing knives which you always keep on you, then throw them with such precision as to cut off everyone's gonads.

Interestingly, I did used to carry several throwing knives on me, and I practiced with them enough that unmanning several people wouldn't have been impossible

  My condolences.  Problems never come up one at a time, always all at once.  Here's hoping that it all will work out somehow.

League of Legends. 

It's such a horrible fucking game.  Why do I keep playing it?  There are times when it's genuinely fun, but overall I'd say there's a 60% chance I'll walk away feeling like I wasted my time and a 40% chance that I'll walk away from it in a blinding rage because of mindfuckingly stupid balance issues.

Ok.  I know why I keep playing it.  The fast paced rpg mechanics are the most addicting I've ever seen, and everybody I know plays it daily, including my wife.  I wish it just didn't exist.  Someone needs to run over Riot HQ with a tank.
