Watching computer illiterate people go to edit->copy and edit->paste makes me angry for no real reason. I would point out the magic of ctrl-c and ctrl-v but I've stopped doing that because some of them press ctrl and don't hold it down and then complain that it didn't work. It can take hours to get these people to learn these simple things and then they forget it in 2 minutes!

Hell, just Right-click->copy would be better than that.

Frankly, that's what I keep using 'cause I fuck up if I use the keyboard too fast on the laptop :V

Yes. Staying hateful can be really exhausting.

And now for something completely different.

Bad techno and electronica. Now, I know music and art are subjective, and if any genre is super subjective, it's electronic music.

But seriously. Today's DJs are getting fucking lazy. Not only are half the songs I listen to on Digitally Imported Radio remixes of classics from over a decade ago, but their loops are shit. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to loop themselves going "Hey" in the most bored tone of voice possible? Take the fattest, fastest beat you can think of....then drop some dopey fool in there going "Hey." It sucks the energy right out of the track. And this is endemic. You can make it a "woah" or an "uhn" or some other grunt, and it will still sound terrible after it's 30th repeat.

Remember kids, sampling yourself or others is best done in moderation, or when it's so goddamn brilliant it makes you want to cry. Sampling yourself breaking wind, opening your creaky door or mumbling something stupid is the lowest form of "art." Reach a little higher, or step away from the mixer.

My god...

Trying to prototype a simple currency converter (already done in Java...) in iRise but keep failing to get the program to show the damn results (is it even possible to know if the calculations are done without a sure-fire way of debugging?) despite following video tutorials and reading a program documentation so egregiously malformed that you need 6 ft. long titanium pruning scissors to find out how to apply a function to a simple concept.

Dear iRise... What kind of ungodly, diabolical, Orwellian syntax do you want me to throw at you?!  >:(
