I have two-thirds of a semla left and the food wall from the previous one is preventing me from finishing this delicious pastry.  >:( [/minor rage]

This time, on 'Politicians have no idea what they are talking about...'

I'd say more, but unlike before, I don't know who to yell at since I'm neither Chinese nor Russian.

I'm being gaslit by a computer science TA and I'm in the middle of dying due to absolutely fucking ridiculous university policy.  I hate school so much right now.  I'd forgotten what it was like to be taught by the truly incompetent... now I'm starting to remember again.

I can't wait until this can just be over with...

Hm?  How is the Emperor making you rage?  Is it the random star field on his chest that made it through the CG or something?

I think he's saying "turn to the dark side."

Eh... maybe?  I'm mostly done tangling with administration, and I did manage to turn in my project with all the problems taken care of, so now I just have to spend another 6 hours working tonight (=/) and run to the math building at ...

Well, fuck.  Their office doesn't open until 1 pm tomorrow, which is ridiculous.  But still, I'm doing better now.  Even if I do feel pretty nauseated and bad from hard work and lack of food.

You do what you want, I'm just enjoying the honest raeg.

I used to want to heart punch someone when I was in college over administration issues. Particularly the "there has been a hold placed on your account due to overdue payment, you may not register for classes until it is cleared" part. Watch the spots in the classes you NEED to graduate slowly slip through your fingers, as your college tells you they only accept credit cards from YOUR company's competitor (because of contractual obligations), then tell you there's a 7-day holding period on any paper check. You're about to walk out, seething but accepting your lot, when you glance and your bill and realize they're charging you a 10% service fee for paying your bill. That's 10% on a several thousand dollar tuition bill.

Heck, there are people who think 'Harder, better, faster, stronger' is just a rip off of 'Stronger', there will always be people who don't know the history of every song ever, especially if the song was written before they were born.

It's worse when they refuse to accept it when you try to explain...

This is the age of the internet though. You can just show them a crappy youtube video from 10 to 30 years ago, singing the same song. Then you can bask in their wrongness. Possibly to music you enjoy.

Nothing makes me rage like incompetent people who get to call me stupid 99% of the time, who are blindingly, noxiously stupid the other 1% of the time and still expect me to lick their boots at all times in all places.

My cat has been sleeping in the litter box. Fuck if I know what is wrong with him.

Ive given him new food that he likes more than his old stuff.

Been making a point to pet him regularly, even though he rarely comes to me for attention.

Been letting him go outside while I am at work.

I can't think of anything that has changed to cause him stress.

But its just disgusting, I don't really want to touch him anymore.

The news. Anglers are suggesting cormorants be culled because they reckon the cormorants are responsible for fish becoming depleted in the areas they're fishing.

...
Seriously guys, seriously.. You guys... Seriously.

These are specifically people who fish for sport, suggesting the natural inhabitants of the ecosystem be killed en masse so they can continue fishing for sport.
