The trick is to make your niche cooperate with the niche of the medium; I made a DF mod entirely about DF jokes back in 40d.

Of course, nobody liked it.

XD

I once made killer carpmen(bipedal) who literally swarmed the rivers. No one liked it. I loved it lol
This reminds me of the derpicorns I modded in a few editions back. The things were gamebreaking - they were weaker unicorns with orders of magnitude more mass. One deripcorn could feed a fortress for decades, and they usually prowled around in packs of 3 or so... and then there were the dire-derpicorns. That was just a disaster.

Anyways, for actual, albeit petty, rage, I'm busy as hell. I don't really like being busy, especially because I've got a bunch of other things to do. Plus I tend to mess around with video games for a few hours after I get home before I remember I have homework due the next day - cue several hours spent on linear algebra, and none of the other stuff I want to get done actually getting done. The true rage part of this is that I've tried to change - I've tried planners, whiteboards, alarms, and several other methods of questionable quality. Not a damn one has worked for more than a few weeks, at which point my brain pretty much goes 'yeah screw that bitch I do what I want' and it'll just fade away into the pile of unused crap in my room.

Once again, I am left to wonder how does one verbally misspell. It is a feat I did not think possible, as spelling is an abstraction to make visual communication after all.
Regardless of your mothers spectacular ability to rather literately leet speak, she does sound a bit intolerant.

Conservatives are trying to pass a bill that would give the police free reign with monitoring internet usage (Not requiring a warrant and all that). They responded to a Liberal's concern with basically "You're either with us or you're with the child pornographers" (I may be paraphrasing here). RAGE.

Not that I know of. I was listening to the CBC Radio One while I was getting ready this morning when I heard it. And the 'best' part? The politician who said that later denied saying it.

Right wings thinking in extreme polarisation. What else is new?
Seriously, fish fly, birds swim, I type, Darvi links TvTropes, MaximumZero hurts things and right wing nutters think that anything that does not assimilate into their exact beleifs is satan.

Well... It depends on what you consider "evil" and what you consider a "plan", but she is a little bit correct even if she is coming from a place of intolerance. The stated goal of the religion is to convert the entire world.

That's pretty much the goal of Christianity too isn't it?

Mostly? Yes. Though Islam tends to be a lot more unified in that goal.

Mostly? Yes. Though Islam tends to be a lot more unified in that goal.
Which is why there's been sectarian conflict within the Ummah for the last...oh, 1300 years or so. </snark>

Seriously...I don't think Islam is any more unified than Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism. There are numerous sects and subsects, and a number of them are considered heretical by the others. Islam runs the gamut from the "Allah is love/let's get trippy and recite poetry" Sufis to the "99.9% of so-called Muslims are actually kaffir, so they should die" Kharijites.

Yeah, I dunno where people got the idea that there's less sectarian conflict in Islam than other religions. The Sunni/Shiite split alone should be enough to tell people it's not a unified religion.

And just to be fair, even Buddhists have many doctrinal distinctions that breaks them into different sects.

At least it's not a cat sitting on your bed staring at you while you're trying to get to sleep. :P
