Wetsuit + Katana = Invincible Zombie Slayer that Never Runs Out of Ammo?

Unfortunately, most people don't know how to properly wield a katana, especially when grappled by a zombie. Not to mention, a strong zombie could still dislocate your arms.

wet suits also do not protect your face and would rapidly cause dehydration and heat exhaustion in warm weather. Katana's are also crap and would break fairly often.

I'll just drive a metal gear, won't have to worry about snake, his legendary reflexes and cunning use of stealth and firepower would be nullified by being a zombie.

If you're breaking a katana, you're doing it wrong. My battle ready can cut through two cinder blocks with nary a scratch. (I bought it because of that demo, but haven't done it myself.)

Neither does anything else except helmets which was assumed anyway (Riot gear helm weee!), that is why you live in the north?

*Grab bat
*grab my dad's ancient hunting rifle (never seen it used and it's been sitting out in the garage for at least 13 years untouched, but it's a heavy metal club if anything)
*grab car
*steal solar panels from the top of those new billboards around town
*loot grocery stores for non perishables
*loot home depot and walmart for nails, hammers, fishing rod, and fishing tackle.  BB guns with some BBs wouldn't hurt for bird hunting too.  Find a distilling kit or tools to make one if I can
*Go to city island library
*Barricade/Destroy the bridges
*Hook up solar panels to the roof, use electrical experience + books to produce small amounts of useful power.
*Live in a veritable fortress in comfort off of fish, birds and distilled seawater, surrounded by thousands upon thousands of books, computers, and a small solar power plant.

I would just say i'd go into the Minnesota wilderness, but I couldn't survive out there. Although we do have a few guns in the house (Thanks to a stepdad who's crazy about hunting, he even has a crossbow.). I'd more or less just head out into the country and find a nice house to lay low in.

And those pictures of birds arent actually taken on the island itself.  There is no shore on that island, all around is at least 6 feet of straight up concrete wall from the lowest point on the island to the water level.  Like to see an able bodied human climb that unassisted, let alone a zombie.  Would only really need to worry about the dock on the south side, but that's easily enough destroyed or rendered safe.  Especially if I can take out those bridges.

I think my biggest worries would be hurricanes, and even then only a big one that can raise the sealevel more than 6 feet.

My zombie survival plan:
1. Get gun, knife, or other weapon
2. Kill self
Resistance is futile. Also even if it turns out to not actually be futile, it's a lot of work and risk.
