Playing EU3 Divine Wind, which I just updated to yesterday. I wondered if Burgundy was actually viable in this version.

It turns out that it is indeed viable, but only if you expand like a boss in the beginning. Losing my king and having a not-so-legitimate heir meant I went over my Infamy limit. Cue the entire HRE declaring war on me one by one as people people get fed up with fighting so many goddamn wars. I'm taking out the tiny countries attacking me, but the huge stacks of 20,000 rebels popping up everywhere aren't so good. Hopefully I run out of wars someday and get time to muster to fight them better.

(Burgundy is now half again the size of France, but the rebel hordes of Burgundy outnumber any other army on the planet. I just have to take them out stack by stack...

In most places, admitting to being a male homosexual will get you put on a list for those permanently banned from donating blood.
What the fuck?

I am speechless.

Note about the gay blood donor thing: It was originally done because of the AIDS outbreak among gay communities, rather than 100% homophobia.

Of course, this doesn't justify it in the slightest, but it's good to know that the originators of it weren't complete asses.

I wonder what the results would be if they tested for AIDS with more modern methods...

I agree it was a justified measure when it was first implemented, as there were no real tests for HIV/AIDS in the 70's and it hadn't yet spread very far out of the gay community, but these days neither of those are true.

My school administration is too fucking strict. They didn't let us fucking leave the dance when we wanted to without parental consent, they never fucking let us dance like we want to, they make me FUCKING RAGE!

Now, I am a Menshevik when it comes to this. I don't party hard like my classmates, I don't drink or do drugs regularly, but when this shit happens every single damn time, you can't help but get fucking tired of it!

I don't know about your high school, but I do agree that grindy dancing seems kind of inappropriate at school-sanctioned dances.

When the school-sanctioned dance sound track is stuff like Limp Bizkit and Kidd Rock, it gets questionable.  Thank God for Texas.

Well, grinding is kinda iffy, but you can't even dance close to each other. "Face to face with a little bit of space" is his (The Principal's) motto.

And I don't really care about that part. I can handle that. What I can't handle is the fact that despite us being in High School, and some of us are about to LEAVE high school, we were not allowed to leave the dance without our parents coming to the dance and taking us home. I know why they did it, but it's not fucking right. You shouldn't be able to hold 16, 17, and 18 year olds just because of what they MIGHT do. That's not just cause, and it's fucking unfair to parents to have to come to the school even if they live 15, 20, or 30 minutes away because their kid doesn't enjoy the dance, and wants to get out.

They can't actually do that outside of school hours. 8:00 AM-3:00 PM is the only time period you can be legally detained by a school.

Tried using Photoshop at the last minute.  I figured it would be easy enough to say, make a new layer, paint with a white or black tool to smooth out my assignment for school.  Cue photoshop changing tools at random and drawing in lines when I want it to curve >_>

What the fuck Comcast, why are you throttling my internet connection. I mean, I download two pirated games (Both of them were around 5+ years old.) and now whenever I try to download something my internet speed drastically goes down.

I really have to switch to a better ISP sometime.

Well, shit then. Time to call up a lawyer. Or at least report the principal to the superintendent.
