I don't know if this still works, with the new military system, but drafting and undrafting an on-break dorf immediately ends his break.  Since he's a civilian he'll get an unhappy thought from the draft but as far as I know interrupting his break has no ill effects.

Yeah. I think the game is glitched or something. Dem dwarfs are not drinking the new brew (the fuck woke up) and the river is unused.

Also, dwarfs I care* about are starting to die. Damn.

From everything you've posted, it sounds like you'd still be better off if you were having to couchsurf at a few friends' houses for a little while than spend any more time where you're at. Especially once it becomes apparent to your mom and stepdad that their mealticket is planning on moving out.

I believe the dogs belong to the step-dad, unfortunately. Not that they should left there anyway.

My girlfriends daughter and friends got mugged at gunpoint today. Nothing horrible happened in the end besides a loss of money on their part, but dammit if this doesn't make me want to just smash things.
