There's a motherfucking fly that's been harassing me for days now. It keeps ruining my mediocre  scores in games and distracts me from studying.

This is what I would do.

Half fill a soda can with flamable liquid and place some paper that stops the liquid from reaching the fly. Trap the fly in the can and place some more paper on top of the can. Then, you heat the can until the liquid sets on fire.

Actually, that's not what I would do at all. I'm too lazy.

Why don't you just, stick some honey on a little piece of paper (some water outright saturated in sugar and then some would make a could substitute), set it down on your desk, honey side up, then CRUSH it with a shoe the moment it lands?
