Since my Monday meeting, I learned that I now have to come into work at 6am on Wednesdays (and I am not a morning person at all; this is worst-case scenario crap for me). That was inconvenient and annoying; what drove me to rage, despite the news being given on Monday, it takes action immediately (IE- freaking tomorrow). As if that's not bad enough, today was an annoying work day and I was lucky enough to leave at the time I was scheduled (half an hour past it actually), I also now have a high-demand top priority design task I MUST get done before the end of the day (which will drag past midnight as usual), and for the rest of the week and must be entirely done by that deadline.
Knowing my personality, and overall attitude towards my job, I was given an ultimatum by the manager whether I want to put in my 2-weeks ASAP or not, considering how much an investment the change, and addititional training is (which the training takes place in Jacksonville, probably at the same times (6 F-ing AM I must be there by)). After weighing everything to come up with a choice (I personally have been leaning to getting the hell out; but everyone else advises otherwise), I'm not only inconclusive so far, but thanks to the job market, it looks like I'm going to remain chained up here for another 4-8 more months until anything can come in out of the blue to help me out.
I'm leaving it in God's hands to help me come up with something. I never planned to make a career of working where I only intended to part-time for less than a year (Currently on 3rd year).
EDIT:
Removed rant.
