I dread my wife and I ending up like this to our kids.  We definitely have problems, though we're generally not screaming and at each other's throats.  All the same, we probably wouldn't be together if not for the kids.  It's not that they're all that keep us together, but there have been times when we definitely would have seperated but for their sake decided to put things off so we could calm down and try to find a fresh way to tackle it.

I'd suggest begining an isolation campaign. Don't talk to them, don't interact with them, don't even act like your parents exist any more than you have to. Parents can take anger between them and their child, but not a total lack of social recognition. They'll probably calm down and try to get you to respond to them again.

That's the kind of problem I addressed in the other thread. You can't leave them just be, because then they get the impression that they can get away with their crap, because effectively, they are getting away with it.
