Vista hid that certain menu for reasons that defy all logic or understanding.  Go into your Control Panel and fiddle with the Classic and whatever other views are available.  I have Windows 7 now so I don't remember exactly, but I know it's hidden in your Control Panel.  Look for any reference to programs, and that should be it.

Go to C:\Program Files\Blah blah Sims\ and delete it.  Run a registry cleaner.

Goddammit youtube, Why did you have to change the freaking interface like that? its not easier to navigate, its not better, it doesn't get me to watching videos faster. Why?

The problem is that everything has been uninstalled. I've searched again and again and there is no trace of this game on my computer. But the problem persists. And I've already tried CCleaner, which did nothing to help.

You mean that experiment in bad interface design that been going on for two or so years?

Also, if you know how to do so, rip the missing stuff out of the registry manually.
