Now I'm glad I've not looked at that thread since it was only one page long. I'll go read it and cry now.

My solution to the soul-hungering tack: I stuck it in a block of foam, superglued it in place, taped it down, and threw it out. It will be in my foot again within the month, just watch.

Was gonna go skiing today. Previously-operated-on knee just swelled up hugely an hour ago. Might end up being serious, will find out in a few days, but have to keep weight off it as much as possible, keep it elevated, blah blah blah.

Arg! I'm trying to perfectly align something on RealWorld Cursor Editor(because moving something causes it to AA for no reason) and my mousepad keeps causing my mouse to stop moving and wiggle in place. D:<

When a student was about to royally **** me over in a group project, I always went to the teacher to explain the situation BEFORE the due date.

Yeah, technically, that's throwing someone under the bus. But when I've got my shit done, and they don't, it's MY grade on the line as well as theirs. So fuck it. Cover your own ass. I've gotten A's for my effort on a project that would have gotten a D, simply because I took the time to explain to the teacher what was happening and where stuff was falling apart.

There will be plenty of time later in life to take the fall with other people even when you don't need to. College is not one of those times. A failing grade can EASILY cost you several thousand dollars to make up for.
