Armok bitching about Exkriby's MSPA game, I had a rant at him. Wish I could have smacked him then, still violence doesn't solve anything.

Violence solves problems with the downside of usually making more. Use with discretion, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's not useful.

Remember guys, violence only begets more violence. It's a win-win!

Every time. Every single time. That whole board would be a lot more pleasant if all the indie elitists were kicked out.

Even teh Lone Wolfz? :**(

I'm just getting so jaded about modern AAA releases. I don't know if that makes me an indie elitist or not. I can still safely say I enjoy modern games. They just start feeling like drudgery so much sooner than they used to, to me.

To quote one of my favorate webcomics. "As the size of an explotion increases the numer of problems it is incapable of solveing approches zero". Fighting may solve many things, but blowing stuff up solves more.

Violence may not solve much, but liberal application of Chlorine Trifluoride certainly does ;)

Incidentally, Dioxygen Difluoride (FOOF) is my new favourite chemical.  It can do some crazy things, like combust you down to a skeleton (bones are pretty much the only thing in your body that won't be obliterated) almost immediately.  Apparently it's under researched just because noone wants to go anywhere near it.

Not quite FOOF(it's O2F2), that might be the sound it makes when it hits a person. The reason it's under-researched might also be that it seems so damn hard to maintain; according to Wikipedia, it decomposes rapidly, and melts at -160 °C. This looks like your reference for it, right? Someone order me some of this stuff from Hangzhou.

Actually, my reference is my chemistry teacher, although he probably got it from there, heh.

You think that's crazy? Try Hydrofluoric Acid. It won't burn your skin. Oh no, you'd be getting off easy. It harmlessly diffuses through your less dense tissues, mostly effecting bone. It also screws with your nervous system, meaning you won't feel it as it works. If you get lucky, it'll force you into a fatal cardiac arrest. If you aren't, it'll melt your bones without alerting you to the pain of it untill it disperses.

Yeah.

My internet has backflipped from occasionally breaking for just me and me alone, to actively attempting seppuku with a live swordfish. It flickers in and out for everyone in the house, is generally slower, and occasionally claims in the taskbar and for Steam not to be connected, whilst letting me browse just fine.

Sounds like mine at times. Although for me, Windows Network Diagnostic often reports "No Problem" when there sure as hell most certainly is.
