For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I think I actually find Linux fanbois more annoying. Especially when a computer inept person is asking what kind of pre-built machine to buy and someone pops in to say "Use Linux!" It's like.....did you even read the OP?
nenjin, are you familiar with system 32?

That's the thing you put in the recycle bin when your computer is running slow, right??!!?!?!

Or maybe just google search.

Either works.

I would have known that was a stupid idea 15 years ago. So yeah. I guess I have come far. I didn't realize deleting your System 32 had become a formal meme.

I should point out, *I'm* not the one asking about pre-builts.

My usual response to pre-builts:

"Wait... you mean... that's actually a thing?

What's next? Pre-assembled lego?"

Yes, that is in fact a thing. No extra work or unforseen expenses needed! I mean, how many times have you run out of thermal paste right before you have to put that processor on? I know I have. I have one over here that can be yours for only 18 easy payments of $38.88! (plus tax and shipping and handling)[/voice]

butbutbutbut....

that takes out all the fun of buying a new computer!

plus the thermal paste that comes with the heatsink is decent, generally.

I have a prebuilt ^_^;  Has served me well for like... three years?  Had to replace the power thingy though, the old one became ineffeicent after a while.

If I'm on a budget I usually go for a cheap prebuilt and then expand it as I want. For some reason if I'm given free reign over what parts I can put in my computer I absolutely have to go for the best value/power ratio, but if I'm getting a prebuilt I can settle for things that are merely adequate. I have a sickness.
