I don't know if other people are feeling the same way, but I'm LOVING the bugs. 5 bandit ambushes in 1 minute? Fuck yeah.

I haven't seen the giant mosquito thing yet. Maybe I'll play some this weekend until I do.

I think Toady has been reading one too many Skyrim jokes, because man, archers fucking suck now. Doesn't matter where they put the arrow, your knee or your spinal cord, it's going to do serious permanent damage and probably leave you crippled and unable to fight everything else.

I'm enjoying fending off a flock of zombie ravens and a zombie panda.  It's like Capcom and Dreamworks have conspired against me.  I brought along a horde of bunnies to act as distractions, but they're just going to slowly add to the numbers of undead.

Hey, they aren't all bad. I had a lung shredded by a crossbow bolt that was fine after a good night of sleep. We don't need no stinkin' doctors, we don't need no stinkin' "physical therapy" or "down time"...

Following a roguelike tutorial for libtcod in python, using C++. Then it goes and shows off a feature of python that C++ can't replicate, leaving me to attempt to make an equivalent without the slightest idea how. Really tempted to just switch to python.
