Subtle too, not even a changed logo like they have on equally obscure days.

...That's your google today? Google.se looks like this.

edit: It's honour-/advertising François Truffaut, in case anyone's wondering.

Why do I hate it?  Because it's an open invitation to piss your time on earth down the drain in order to discuss Superbowl ads with unknown people on the internet, many of whom are probably bots, most of whom are stupid, many of whom will probably be engaging in puerile sexual innuendo.

I mind the little in-line advertisements for specific products a lot less than this false "marketplace of ideas" that lets people feel like they're speaking honestly, that they're doing someone, when instead the goal is to get a handful of companies more air time and drain the lifeblood of the American people... and give them the illusion that they're being constructive.

In simple summation:

The City of New York is holding a parade for the Giants, but not the returning Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan....

This.
It was bad enough with the fucktard who ran around the LPers with his false flag buttonmashing last year, and now theres more idiots doing it to Vocaloid videos instead. Youtube and its obtuse broken flagging system, you should have to at least prove your claim first.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Indeed. The same abuse of copyright flagging I've seen occurring as far back as 2008 when a bunch of fundamentalist creationists decided they would take down a bunch of atheists' videos about evolution.

Do what worked then: threaten them with litigation. Creationists finally stopped for the most part after learning filing a false DMCA claim was perjury and could result in prison time if charges were pressed against them.

But they are making a copyright claim, surly that has legal implications?
Wouldn't they be subject to some sort of penalty for lodging a false claim? I mean it could be seen as fraud.
