anyway, its an MMO. Lag will always be there even if it becomes more famous than everything.

She just pulls the plug that connects my PC to the modem. The plugs in her office, so I can't get in there to replug it. Also, I think it's kinda BS that it's supposed to be my PC that causes the lag. I mean, I'm not even downloading stuff.

Use wireless, maybe? Might annoy her more if she finds out, but odds are she can't do anything about it :P

It is wireless. Sort of. It's an adapter that connects two cables by using the plugs. Somehow.
Can't use real wlan with my PC 'cause apparently somebody broke the antenna.
