My hypothesis is that the machines are using morse code to communicate on how to destroy their humans masters.

I for one welcome our new beeping overlords.

Well, considering the tendency of the IT world to invent 20 protocols for the exact same task and then invent 20 new ones in an attempt to unify the old ones, I'd be highly surprised if our beeping overlords would know what the beep they're saying to each other...

I accidently ended the "Winlogon.exe" task in task manager thinking it was the Winlogin.exe malware.

I AM SO FUCKING STUPID.

Secure exit door alarm is beeping every 30 seconds. Loudly. More highly annoying than rageworthy, but it seemed in keeping with the thread tit- *BEEP*
May i suggest a more quiet but still effective model of our fire alarms?

Spoiler: behold (click to show/hide)

In the case of a fire, you'll be safe and full of popcorn.

Well our house is burning, and the kids are dead because our fire alarm was not loud enough to wake them, but think of all the money saved on batteries!  And hey, popcorn for watching the show!

Doesn't work, winlogon is the thing that lets you literally log onto windows 7. The only way I can fix it is by getting a copy of windows 7 on a disc, but I don't have one.

That doesn't make any sense. Ending the task only lasts until the computer is restarted. Did you delete the program or something?
