There's actually no conclusive proof that evolution exists.
You know, besides the entire fossil record conforming to it and every biological discovery over the last century and a half fitting it like a glove.
Aside from all species being created at once, and the less-developed ones dying.

Believe me, it was me vs my Christian professor, and he had a rebuttal for everything I said. So I decided to take his lesson, but believe in Evolution anyway.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Aside from all species being created at once, and the less-developed ones dying.
If that had been the case, Earth's biosphere would have died off a while back. Almost every species to ever live is extinct these days, and had they all ever existed at once it would have been catastrophic. Furthermore, the fossil record slowly changes across time as new species emerge from older ones, meaning that the best-fitting ones would have driven all the others in that biological niche to extinction. What do you find more likely: that they changed to fit their enviorment (which we can observe), or that they were all popped into existance by a magical being at the same time (which we have never observed in any way)?

Tell me of them. I've heard many creationist arguments, and not one of them has ever managed to hold water.

I went to a lock in at my school and my heart condition forced me out. I've spent all day popping my meds and recovering like a good little boy. I fucking hate my heart, and intend to replace it with a home made robo heart. I lost out on three whole days of really intense fun and goofiness, and there won't be another lock in until the week before spring break.

On one last note I don't think that Britain gets very many tornadoes.

Gravity is also a theory.

A theory that is quite easy to prove.
Not really, some people beleive Gravity doesn't exist and it's instead God(me) pushing us(all of you) down.

But why would God bother to push down, for instance, a baseball?

No idea, it's just what I've actuilly heard people say when I asked them why they thought gravity was a lie.

Well, under the theory of relativity, gravity is just the bending of spacetime :P

The problem with "Gravity is a lie" is that it makes loads of predictions (about, say, space travel) and they've all come true, since as far back as Newton's time (that was through the discovery of Neptune, not space travel).

Evolution... well, you can't really deny it happens even if you somehow worm out of the fossil records charge.  Why do we need to keep changing our vaccines?  How do we domesticate and breed animals?  Why do we sometimes see direct evidence of evolution in front of us (think peppered moths)?

From what I got from wiki, he just wanted to put a Catholic king on the throne.

And he was tried for High Treason anyway.

So yeah... He wasn't a terrorist, he was an assassin. Just a bad one.
To be fair, Guy Fawkes himself wasn't really anything.  He just guarded the gunpowder and gave away the names of his fellow conspirators (no prizes for guessing why) after being caught.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but why were two, completely unrelated, comments of mine used to formulate a hypothesis that Britain is backwards?

There are also people who like to claim that the Earth is only a few millenia old. Which gives me the urge to hit them with Carbon 14.

A kid at my school believes Earth is only 1700 years old. He didn't understand why I laughed when I told him the date was 2011.

How did that even make sense to him?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Because I am a small, hateful little man.

A kid at my school believes Earth is only 1700 years old. He didn't understand why I laughed when I told him the date was 2011.

Did you explain the concept of numbers one through three hundred?
