Okay, so there is exactly one of these in my house:

IT IS OUT FOR MY BLOOD.

It was on the floor and I have relearned just how much it hurts to step on it. Each time this happens (so far: many), I put it in a small basket on the top of my bookshelf. It stays there, undisturbed, for a period of time ranging from a week to a month. Then it is on the floor again, and the cycle repeats. Nothing is moving it, because the only one who would is my cat, who can't reach it (I saw her try and fail miserably a while ago, which is why I put it there).

This goddamn fucking thing. It teleports to a place where it will embed itself in my flesh for less than a second, only to be pulled out by the force of me walking before I can react to its presence in my foot, thus making me hunt it down becuase it's identical to the one in the image. It will be destroyed shortly. I just want some ideas as to how I should do so.
