I know, maybe force her to be alone for a while? Take a vacation somewhere that you fly to by plane (if she doesn't have a ticket, she can't follow you onboard). Well okay, maybe not quite that drastic (or expensive), but I think you get the idea.

She sounds like a little puppy who doesn't want to leave their moms side or something.

Really though, I wonder why she is having so much separation anxiety there, at least that's what it sounds like to me.

The councilor stated that if, by next appointment (on the 11th), things haven't improved, then counciling clearly isn't helping, and they aren't going to schedule any more appointments for us.
So yeah, it's pretty bad.
Telling them something when that day comes up really isn't going to get anywhere because of that. It's simply... Even I know that when a proffesional considers something a lost cause that things are bad.

I don't know what to do.

I think that's the problem, Mastha is doing that, it's just that his...Wife seems to be refusing to acknowledge they can be separated.

And like he said, the councilor even stated that fact, so they must have talked about it before.
This is actually what seems to be a deeper problem. Not speaking more about it in thread because it was a private matter disclosed personally ._.
But yeah. There are...issues in the way in between. The best for MC is another voice with experience that they can both see O:
Like his counselor...err, with a second opinion...
Right, ask no more.
I always seem to think in video game terms, don't I? You know, like 'There is only one layer to this thing' sorta stuff.

Then divorce her. I know she has leukemia and all that and you don't want to seem mean, but obviously the relationship isn't a healthy one and even counselling makes no progress.

EDIT: Or maybe ask her why she is acting that way, why she is afraid of leaving you or doing things alone.

Ask the professional and ideal response to the situation. :-\
You're in the position where you know her past and what ideas may have been present to affect her reasoning and actions. In the situation for a job--let them move for it :O social experience is a plus.
But yeah--inquire directly why she is acting like such, in a calm and orderly manner. If accused as a response, say you're not doing that//only curious as to why they act like why they're acting. If needed, detail what you (or others) observed, then if needed again, the reason or cause.

Caroline lives in Honduras. From what I've heard, the cops there aren't so good.
While highly illegal, and I do not recommend this course of action, fantasies about swatting Caroline's parents are soothing.

She honestly believes that everything she's doing is helping.
I've asked why she does this, and she's says she is trying to make things better.
I'm convinced that she will not understand that things are only getting worse.

And yeah, I've talked with Tiruin about this stuff more in depth than here, and Tiru, I'm giving you my permission to discuss what we've talked about, since I have to go to work and I don't have time to explain things, if you want to.

fantasies about swatting [...]are soothing.
._.
That'll cause a lot worse if real...and pretty much subjective from person to person (while, yeah, the idea is "nice" to see it occur given what was done >_> at best, confusion occurs...)

First fortress in ages, everything's amazing, masons churn out diorite blocks for the wall, farmers grow quinoa, craftsdwarves make marble pots, brewers brew apples, haulers haul boulders, fey mooded kid lost his mind and runs around babbling, blacksmith makes golden tables, hunters murder pandas, miners mine stairs, etc, etc...

Game crashes.

Reopen Dwarf Fortress.

Continue playing.

Seven dwarves huddle around a wagon.

Motherfucker.

EDIT: Jesus Christ, Caroline, what's happened to you?
At the very least, auto-save man! D:

I thought for a minute that the title was Descansion Edition. I was like, "What did Descan do this time?"

That's actually what I thought when I saw it too.

Including the "What did I do this time?" thought. :V
