I still don't know what Head-On was supposed to do and consider everybody who sent them cease-and-desists or what have you heroes.

As of September 2008, there are two versions of HeadOn available in stores: "Extra Strength" and "Migraine". Chemical analysis of the Migraine formulation has shown that the product consists almost entirely of wax. The three "active ingredients" are iris versicolor 12× (a toxic flower), white bryony 12× (a type of toxic vine), and potassium dichromate 6× (a known carcinogen). The "×" notation indicates that the three chemicals have been diluted to 1 part per trillion, 1 part per trillion, and 1 part per million respectively. This amount of dilution is so great that the product has been described as a placebo; with skeptic James Randi calling it a "major medical swindle". The formula for the Extra Strength version of the product is the same as the Migraine except that it excludes the iris versicolor.

It... won't do much of anything. Some of this crap is diluted enough that you might get more of the "active ingredient"** from drinking tap water than what's in the damn bottle.

*I say actively because people use it instead of, you know, shit that works.

**which is often times a poison, like arsenic or night-shade or whatever, from some weird "like cures like" bullshit in the pseudo-religion of homeopathy :V

Worst part is that a lot of people hear it, and think that it's like, "natural cures" and stuff? That's naturopathy. Completely different. And anyway, we do that in effective medicine, just look at willow bark i.e. aspirin? It's just, you know, we found out the part that actually WORKS, and give you that without all the crap found in the wild version.

That's a very valid suggestion actually, if no other options are availible.

I live in Somerset, Kentucky.
It's not large enough of a place to have a homeless shelter, and there's actually a rather frequent occurance of homeless people who stand on the corner of Walmart, holding signs asking for help, because we don't have anything for them.
It's depressing as hell, but I doubt anyone will work on fixing that.

And even if we did, they would know the location of it, and I have no doubt in my mind that they'd try to find me to take me back.

Last night, when I was walking back from the library, I actually thought about how far I could get if I just left without saying a word. But with no money or place to go, I'd have to keep my job, and then they'd know where I'm at.

I'll be ok, though. They aren't trying to kill me or anything, so I don't have to resort to anything drastic.
