I dunno man, that's like... 6 burritos.

It's a week's groceries if you're living on butter, rice, and onions like I did ._.
Yeah, this is true. I just have a tendency to gauge hedonic purchases in burrito terms - I've found them to be an excellent baseline unit of pleasure/price. Rich, nourishing meals are less efficient about price, while pure staple diets like that are not so good at pleasure.

Although I do love me some starch with butter and onions. >__________> [/that was my lunch]

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Things my mother considers to be true:
You can grow out of autism.
Autism is bad.
If someone protests being put on the spot and made to talk to random strangers to try and convince them of something, it's not because they think they're not suited for it, they think they're SPECIAL and UNIQUE and they're just too SHELTERED for it.

Hehe, my dad considers depression to be a completely avoidable thing that shouldn't need any treatment-those with it should just man up.

I plan to live at home and go to university, given a handy semi-proximity to the university in question.

So yay, leaching off parents for food!

Generally not a good idea, or at least one you should examine very carefully. Part of the point of university is to be a slow transition into adulthood - you are very much independent, but still to a degree guided and supported by your parents. By living at home, you may miss this step and instead be stuck in a school-like state. YMMV, but it'd have done me little good to have stayed at home - and I have a fairly good relationship with my parents.
I would have found a place near campus (fuck living on campus with it's mandatory food plan :v) but I have -zero money because I seriously cannot get a job :/

I procastinate fucking way too much, it's killing my grades too.

You should at least try to study instead of having sex with your teachers for better grades.

I think it goes like this.
1. Read notes/textbook thing.
2. Read again.
3. Repeat forever.

I'd also add a "Write notes" stage.

Just read/watch something you find interesting that's related to whatever you're supposed to study, it worked for me so I can't see why it wouldn't work for you.

Out of random curiosity, what would good things to eat at uni even be?

I've heard people recommend bulk buying beans and (now) rice, but else aside from ramen.

If you've got a way to boil water, brown rice + beans or lentils (whichever are cheaper) will get you a looong way. Just pick up fresh fruit and veggies when possible to cover all the bases. Don't eat ramen for meals. Just don't. It fucks your body up really bad; it's okay once every now and then when you're super-busy working and miss meals as long as you drink plenty of water with that, but beyond that it's good for basically nothing except making hunger pains go away for a while.

That said, ramen can be considerably better if you put fresh veggies in it -- celery, broccoli, carrots, turnips, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, whatever.

There's also always the option of uni dining hall food. If they've got something like a salad bar, sandwich bar, and/or to-order grill (and if the uni has one of those unlimited meal plans mainly designed to keep freshies from starving), that's a really easy way to ensure you always have relatively fresh food (it's still not great, but really good stuff will cost $$) and such.

I hate parties. There's one going on where I'm staying, right now. Drama bullshit. Stupid drunk people. I had a guy come inside and mash his hands on my keyboard while I was in the middle of a game. Fortunately, one of the responsible people at this party apologized profusely for him, but not at all cool or funny.
Fortunately, they're not blasting music.
