Besides, "Oh, the deadline we announced was a lie, you had less time" is horse shit. Yeah, I know the "real world" isn't nice and orderly like that, but we're expected to do all sorts of shit we aren't in employment specifically because it's an educational environment. By the same token that you get to expect us to show our work on arithmetic we can do in our heads, refuse to collaborate with other students, and pay thousands of dollars for this opportunity to work, students get to expect things like "fairness" and "clarity" that may be lacking in the professional world.

Yeah that line I bolded actually is horse shit.  Fun thing about that is if the due date is in the syllabus you can actually dispute whatever they tell you the due date is changed to.

Here in Texas especially, it is actually mandatory for teachers to strictly adhere to their syllabus.  If they don't they can actually end up in some hefty legal trouble.  My advice on that is to research the syllabi laws in your State/Country and copy the syllabus every semester.

Rage time!

I'm getting really, really sick and tired of my boss offloading his shit work onto my back. I call in payroll, I call in subsidy, I do execution, I take conference calls, and I'm sure that I would write the damn schedule if he had it his way. Right now? I'm going back into work after working from open to a few hours ago to do an execution item that he knew about a month ago and didn't do. Oh, and it has to be done today, or the store loses money. I'm so ready to punch someone it's not even funny.

Retail fucking sucks, and you have my word that I will not, absolutely not, do it for the rest of my life. I'm sick to death of everything about it.

I decided, to build a meeting room/mayors house for my above ground fortress, so I removed the downstairs to an area right under it, then I set a up/downstairs to be built, and the dwarves refused to even try to build it, they would built stairs anywhere else I could put floor/wall there I even built an area upstairs next to it and built down to try and fix the problem.

I eventually realized it would to be built from the underground area for some reason.
