The correct method is educated guesswork. Remember that the constant coefficient divided by the leading coefficient is the product of all roots, and if the polynomial coefficients are all integers, then there's a good chance that all roots (or at least the products of complex roots and their conjugates) are integers too.

I am fed up with my job. First, they order me to mop the back because the other people whose job it is didn't, then a minute after I finish, I'm told to do it again. Then I'm informed that they're cutting my hours from 25 a week to 12. They bumped it up to 15 a week when I threatened to quit because I cannot pay rent with 12 hours' pay. Or 15 for that matter. Right now I have such a headache that I can barely see.

Grumble grumble.  My job finally added me to the "Must change oracle password every 3 months" list.  Not only is this way more insecure as I have to write down a password every three months(because the hell if I have the mental room for yet another password), it also isn't allowed to have lowercase letters FOR SOME REASON.  And every time I mistype it I'm locked out for 15 mins(which is at least a good excuse to slack off I guess).

Edit:  Reading the rage above mine makes mine feel like a pretty low-grade rage.  Still irritating though.

So my crazy math professor gave us a take home quiz. 2 questions: both factoring, both with complex roots, a pentanomial and a tetranomial.

Not even the internet can help me, it seems. Nothing I've found works with anything above quadratics. Not even his own goddamn notes are of any help.

Oh yeah?  You like?  I'm addicted to the stuff now.  I've tried Mrs. Renfro's and Jardine.  My most recent purchase was this Deception Salsa.  It's not as hot as the other two, but it is significantly sweeter.  Still pretty good stuff.

EDIT:  I don't know how long ago you had some, but if you think it burns on the way down, wait until you feel it burn on the way out.  You're in for a treat.

I would not have kept my cool like this guy did.
I would add a note to self that psychics tend to be dicks when they get exposed, but that note's already there. Maybe I'll bold it or something.

The video itself aside, I do love how conversationally polite he sounds as a British man when threatening violence. I'm sure all the cues for actual anger are there, but as an American to my ear he doesn't even sound halfway near ready to hit someone.

And I think the reason he stays so calm is he a) is holding documentary evidence in his hand, and b) knows that the he'd have him dead to rights on assault. Knowing the law is behind you does a great deal for yourself control.

I made a joke about my shirt's colors not completely aligning with my school's to my dad, who then proceeded to blow up because I was being snarky with him. When I mentioned that I do it with my friends, he retorted by saying that he was not my friend and that I shouldn't do it with my friends either because it's disrespectful. He then continued by saying that he'd punch me in the jaw if I ever said something snarky to him or my friends again and keep doing it whenever I did until I got the point. I can understand not liking it when I do it to him, and I can kind of understand him saying that he's not my friend. But saying to not do it with my friends or he'll punch me is about where I draw the line of being understanding. I wanted to threaten him right back, but that wouldn't end well. And so here I am.

I'm going to try to ignore this before I say/do something that I'll regret.

'Murrica, honey. M'with nenjin with this one. They all do sound pretty restrained to me, and the vulgarity to word ratio is, like, trivial. Sounds like people that would kinda' like to hit someone, but aren't even remotely to the point of violence yet. S'like. You probably couldn't even hear them across the street or somethin'. Folks around here get pissed you can probably hear it from a good chunk of a football (either sort) field away, through a crowd.

I'd say someone should provide a comparison piece to offer what impolite sounds like across the seas, but it would both be something I wouldn't ask another person to trawl around to find and probably in violation of the forum's ToS if posted.
