you say that, but by passing on all of the admittedly shitty things that can happen while drunk, you're also missing out on the fucking hilarious things that happen. In my experience (bar one person who's just a dick), alcohol makes everyone a lot more enjoyable to be around, makes everything a lot happier. At least, when you drink while you're happy.

... I've yet to be around anyone that was more fun to be around any degree of drunk than they were sober, personally. And I've been around considerably more than I would like. They're mostly just... less than they were sober. Less amusing, less witty, less coherent. Less everything. It's also somewhat suspicious that the vast majority of people claiming it's fun to be around drunk people are also ones that indulge, as well, hum. Inhibited situation assessment and memory? Hrm. Sounds like the influence of alcohol, a'ight.

I'll just... keep avoiding the stuff. Apparently the entrance fee to find inebriation and being around others in the same state pleasurable is too high, f'me.

Others are welcome, though. M'fine being around drinkers so long as they're not drinking, usually.

And I am most definitely better to be around/interact with whilst drunk, without a doubt.

I am more fun to be around drunk, from what I recall of the experience, but I have less fun. And I'm a fairly selfish bastard, so that's that - I've never been much for going out drinking, and now that I have some minor health problems* that could stem from it, I don't drink anything stronger than wine and I never get worse than dizzy-fuzzy-buzzed, in the comfort of my home.

*My gut is apparently really prone to bleeding.
