I meant it in a more political manner in regard to politicians, but maybe I'm confusing "pacifism" with "passive". I think it's a case where either can be used for the same meaning, or has been sometime in my past.

Had to go through and take down all the drinks that were past their expiration dates. Nearly all the Simply <flavor> juices and Nesquick drinks were, and the ones that weren't will expire before the semester starts(that's next Tuesday). So was most of the soda, but soda doesn't really go bad because it's basically liquid sugar.

Then I had to try and sneak them out the back to the dumpster without my manager seeing it, because my supervisor didn't want her to know about it for some reason. I can't, since the dumpster is covered in bees, and the second I get close, they're all over me. I manage to get the trash out at the end of the day despite the bees, but one of them followed me in and took up residence in the dish room where I work. Then they gave me a bunch of slightly expired Nesquick to take home for some reason. Well, the Nesquick only has the month on the expiration date, not the day, and they all show August... except the Strawberry Banana-flavored ones, those expired in May.

Not used often, but yea, means money. Same with "readies."
