Ordered some stuff from Newegg a while back, some of it shipped from overseas. The USPS website said one package was delivered yesterday, and one was delivered the day before. I have received no packages.

Nah, it was totally stolen, and actually was supposed to have arrived June 27 (misread the stupid thing), which I guess means it actually didn't ship from overseas. Since I forgot about it/wasn't expecting it until around now, I probably don't have much recourse either.

I'm flattered, but not my quote.

My own rage is that I spent almost a week making these parts, and Lockheed decides that the machining tolerances were too large for their heat-treatment, so I have to make them again, halving the tolerances. That's annoying enough when current tolerance is half the width of a human hair.

Understaffed again because the department manager keeps spending all the overtime budget on the days he works regardless of where the hours are needed. Last Sunday he got three people more than needed in, and spent the whole night sleeping in the office, and now we're not going to be able to finish this Wednesday when he isn't working.

Heh, I'm pretty sure this is civilian satellite. However, the biggest reason our planes cost money is that the US government (understandably, I might add) requires every single raw component and material for military hardware to be domestically made. So they pay guys like me $X/hr instead of importing from China where they have people working at $.1*X/hr
